Professor Li Hosts Seminar: How Research Helps Students Stand Out in Summer Camp and College Applications

Professor Li delivered an inspiring online seminar to more than 50 parents and students, exploring how research can help high school students stand out in college and summer program applications.

During the session, Professor Li shared practical insights on why, how, and when students should start doing research. She emphasized that research not only leads to tangible outcomes—such as paper publications, conference presentations, awards, and recommendation letters—but also builds intangible skills like critical thinking, confidence, and communication.

Professor Li encouraged families to view research as more than a credential—it’s a transformative journey that helps students develop a unique, cohesive, and memorable profile while contributing to the broader research community.

Thank you to all the families who joined this meaningful conversation! For those who missed it, future seminar dates will be announced soon. Contact us to start your exciting and rewarding research journey!
